Why In The World Can’t I Get A Girl Friend? Or have a friend that is a girl?

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

I’m “athletic build”, take very good of my body and hygiene, going to college, and in the military. I made a personal vow/swear a couple years back to protect and help innocent people anyway I am and any way I can. I’ll take a bullet for just about anyone. I’ve never gone up to some one and said any body this but when a girl or any one starts noticing that I put every one else before myself whether I know them or not people ask me why and practically abandon and ignore me forever. But I know I would definitely of her/If I ever have a girl friend.
If see someone’s car break down I help them, if an elderly person needs help and nobody does anything I’ll definitely help out, and its not annoying neither. Younger people and even my “friends” will look at me weird, especially since I refuse to drink, smoke, and go to clubs. I’m a real family person since both my little sister and my mother are handicapped so I’m there for them a lot too. I don’t ever really like to or try to hang out with people I know cuz I’m doing things for others around(i.e. neighboors, local charity) but still get personal space.
I’m told alot that I’m a real nice and decent guy, and often feel a brother-like person, but I always find people who hate what I do and think its all waste a time and whatever. I’m also told I have a mad or pissed off look when I walk around but its my natural face until some one says hi or hey then I look “nice” again.
I really want to see this world a better place but with everything I do, something always happens with a girl I’m talking to that suddenly things without notice just cut-off forever.
Girls talk to me and (sometimes/rare) flirt but for some reason nothing ever happens beyond that, I’ve never had first date even, I dunno maybe its a hex, surprisingly I do get a decent amount of free time but conveniently no girl I talked before will ever a day to just hang-out, I’m not sure any more should I keep searching or should I just quit on finding some one? I’ve never believed that everybody has soul mate anyway… (most but not everyone)

Maybe you should just not describe yourself all at the same time to a girl when you meet her for the first time, save some for later.. if you tell a person everything about you in halkf hour what else is there left to talk about? just be mysterious… i understand you maybe used to your lifestule… talking about yourself and ewhat you do.. if you rthink that turns girls away from you then dont say the same thing again to someone new that you meet. ask questions about themselves too… good luck.

HEY remember me???

I ask for help to quit smoking and I just want all you guys that helped me through that time to know. That today has been one month smoke free and I really don't miss it. Just wanted you to know you really helped alot and to Thank each and every one of you that helped….NOW I know I can do most anything with help from my puter friends…Only got lots more years to live now.
It is not so easy and for three days I went to book stores and to places where you can't smoke. (like movies and malls just walked around there)
Then for something to do with my hands I got myself a bottle of water that is really hard to open so each time i reached for those smokes I had water instead (drank a sea of water sips at a time and remember that the top was very hard to take off and get back on ) And everytime I really just could not stand it anymore I would promise myself if I could just wait one hour more( kinda like at work you know) then I would take just one puff. So after that I really did light up about three times then put it out quickly did not want to break my record and have to start over. Now I don't even miss it…And I can't thank all of you for listening to my sobs thoes first few days…

Hey good luck…

Now do me a favor send me all the $$$ u would have spent on the nasty things. LOL now really good luck

I’m semi-overweight and quit smoking 3 weeks ago. I biked for 6 miles non-stop today.?

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

When I got home I felt like I was going to puke and I was dizzy like never before. I felt numb and it was as if I was high on drugs. Now I know this probably wasn’t the best idea but after all of the nausea and deliriousness disappeared I felt great! Later tonight about an hour after dinner, I took another 2 mile ride and I could obviously take that a lot better. I plan on doing this twice a day everyday, to make it a habit. Should I start out at 2 miles twice a day.. or just one? Or four.. or three? I’m really not a workout kind of person (hence why i’m “overweight”) so any advice would be appreciated! I like rollerblading and walking too! Really I’m up for trying anything! Thanks everyone.

Congratulations on quiting smoking!! I’ve been nicotine free for about 4 months now - after a 22 year addiction (started when I was 14). I tried everything cold turkey, nicotine gum, the patch, and medicines.

May I ask how you managed to quit?

I’ve quit cold turkey before but started gaining wieght right away, and found myself back smoking in no time.

I’ve ALMOST quit by using the patch.

I successfully quit using zyban a number of years ago, but started smoking again 8 months later.

My latest success occurred using the new drug chantix - it worked amazingly good - didn’t have an increase in appetite, and no withdrawal syptoms. I hope to stay nicotine free forever now!

Hope you manage to stay nicotine free too. Yeah, I think the exercise will help, and will guard against gaining weight which is sometimes associated with quiting.

Are smoky bubbles going extinct?

For hundreds of years humans blew smoke bubbles with clay pipes.

Vaudeville entertainers with their stogies blew smoke filled bubbles the size of pumpkins ~ divided them in two and then reunited them to the amazement of the audience. (We’ll show you how to achieve that magical effect at BubbleTrickz.com!)

Cigarettes too have been used…

But those days of tobacco smoke filled bubbles went out with the expiration of last millennium. They are even against the law in many countries.

Everyone from stage performers to bubble blowing grandparents have been wondering if the days of cloudy bubble fun are truly gone forever…

Zero Toys, a seriously fun toy company headed by inventors Al and Joel decided to take matters into their own hands and change the course of this endangered time honored fun filled tradition.

With their patented, hand held fog generators… (uniquely powerful, highly adaptable, battery powered, hand held devices that turn a few drops of a thoroughly safe and certified food grade combination of water, glycerin & USP-glycol into beautiful, rich fog) … they knew they had the answer.

To help them meet our worlds foggy bubble needs, the Zero Boys turned to Keith Johnson a professional bubble artist and creative inventor in his own right.

The team is currently hard at work preparing the solutions and Trickz machines so they can get them out to you ASAP.

Until then, for those of you who just can’t wait ~ we have information available to help you construct your own foggy bubble machines based on our prototype designs, using products already on our shelves.

Again, please feel free to drop by www.BubbleTrickz.com for more about that.

Keep in touch and keep an eye out for more revealing videos.

And don’t worry! Safe, fun, foggy filled bubbles are no longer an endangered species here on Spaceship Earth.

Happy Bubbling!

Unlocking the Myth of Hypnotic Communication

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

Unquestionably when the word hypnosis pops-up in a conversation or in the mainstream press, nostrils flair, minds conjure up strong reactions of parlor tricks and pictures of late night scary movies where starry-eyed maidens are seduced to carry out satanic acts.

Here we are, in modern times, where we have set foot on the moon, (ops – better watch my words – there are people who still think the earth is flat) broke the sound barrier, communicate wireless with the most modern technology and still people see hypnosis has a hoax. Even the well educated are not off the hook from such lack of knowledge and ignorant responses.

Altered states and trance experiences have been around long before the word hypnosis. What is unique about hypnotic communications is that it’s truly magical and at the same time clearly explainable and understandable.

Regardless, of the mystique surrounding hypnotic communication, there is no hocus-pocus involved, and the only tool you will need is your MIND. Sound too easy?

Follow along and prepare yourself to be amazed - both by the power of your mind to shape who you can become, and by the power you have to guide it.

First, Lets’ remove a couple of old misconceptions that you’re supposed to talk in a monotone when you do hypnosis and that you are under control of someone’s power.

A more accurate way to channel the thought that others can control us would be to restate that hypnosis is powerful communication to influence others as well as the self.

That is clearly evident in advertising communications – persuasive salespeople, politicians, religious leaders, and business leaders just to name a few. The hypnotist may take you into an altered state by using a monotone voice for getting a particular outcome or result. Similarly, a more animated approach, just like a glib politician, can wow you into the same altered state through their mesmerizing performance.

And, as for the self – we are masters at entering altered states many times a day – programming with hypnotic communications for what we can’t do rather than what we can do. (Just listen and catch yourself every time you say “I can’t”, “No”, or “That was Stupid”)

Parents are excellent at using hypnotic communications for getting an unwanted response from a child – Don’t spill your milk! – Turn your back and the next thing you hear is the child’s glass of milk falling on the floor.

If I tell you “don’t get to excited about my free no obligation gift offer at end of this article — Or, if I say, “I don’t want you to worry about what happens after reading this article”. You and the child are stuck with trying to understand what was just said. Unsuspectingly, an unwanted behavior occurs in the child — spilling the milk — and you, the reader, somehow wanting to understand what “don’t want you to worry” means, will momentarily fall into an altered state conjuring up in your mind all kinds of possibilities.

Hypnotic communications is a very natural process that we all do all the time — some have just learned to do it more eloquently for positive outcomes and others sabotage themselves. It’s a skill that you can develop to be a very powerful communicator for changing yourself and influencing others.

The challenge that people have is they don’t recognize, understand or notice the natural flow of hypnotic communication. And, therefore is very transparent and goes undetected by the incomprehensible person.

Here is an everyday example: Put yourself in this scene – you’re driving down a freeway or highway and surprisingly you pass an intended off-ramp or street that you were going to exit onto. For a split second you may have been startled upon discovering that you passed the exit and said something like – “dam” or “stupid me” how did I miss that?

Unknowingly you were experiencing hypnotic communications with yourself – an altered state of consciousness - focused in a hyper state of awareness in your subconscious mind on something other than paying attention to your driving – daydreaming as some would describe it.

Watch out for the pink elephant behind you. – Got you! – for a split second did you visualize a pink elephant? Now I can just hear the skeptics saying, this hypnosis stuff doesn’t work. Clearly it works! And, it has programmed you into the person you are today.

Habits of behavior are learned through hypnotic communications and work specifically for changing any unwanted behaviors in life. You can learn to eliminate habits of behavior that would enable you to stop smoking, eliminate weight, overcome fears, and to create new habits of behavior for greater success in life.

The mind is much more malleable than we thought and marketers are learning to understand and capitalize on what influences consumers unconscious minds as much as their conscious minds do.

Learning hypnotic communications through self-hypnosis will clearly help guard your mind against self-sabotaging acts and bring strength and awareness of external influence. And, you will experience harmonious balance and control in your life.

How Can You Benefit From The Effects Of Quitting Smoking

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

Recently, you decided to quit smoking but dread the uphill battle. What are the effects of quitting smoking that you may enjoy? Find one reason in this article to motivate your desire in giving up smoking.

According to American Cancer Society, the first 20 minutes after you stop smoking, your blood pressure and heart rate return to normal. The carbon monoxide level in the blood starts to drop. This improves your circulation. The next 24 hours, the risk of developing heart attack drops. Following 48 hours, you can smell and taste better. The mucus in the lung starts to clear up. After 1 year, your risk of coronary heart disease declines by 50% as compared to a smoker. By 10 years, your risk of dying from lung cancer equals that of non-smokers. Your heart disease becomes non-threatening at the end of 15 years. It will be as though you never smoked before. Stop the effects of toxic chemicals building up in your system by deciding NOW to cease smoking cigarettes.

When you quit smoking, you add more years to your life. In 2002, Donald Taylor, an assistant research professor of Duke University conducted a study on how quitting smoking can affect life expectancy. Surprisingly, he found that when 65-year old female smokers quit, their life expectancy increased to almost four years. Those who give up smoking at 35 years old could live longer by up to eight and one-half years. If you like to know how smoking affects your life span, check this interactive tool at http://health.yahoo.com/topic/smoking/motivation/tooldoc/healthwise/popup/calc013;_ylt=AvUr9MU33lh0bVmh7g_q44HCtcUF.

Even though your family members or friends don’t smoke, the passive smoking can endanger their health. Experts agree that second hand smoke can cause cancer. A study showed that non-smokers exposed to secondhand smoke faced a higher risk of lung cancer by 18 to 32 percent than those not exposed. The risks increases in proportion to the duration of exposure. Think about it, if you stop smoking now, you can save the lives of your family.

Saving money may be the right kind of motivation for you. Calculate how much you can save in a year. With that savings, reward yourself with something special such as a vacation. Don’t let your money go up in smoke.

Being addicted to nicotine puts you out of control of your life. The effect of nicotine binds your freedom. By giving up smoking, you can be free from nicotine. If you smoke heavily, you may need help such as nicotine replacement therapy and Zyban to end your addiction.

Don’t pass up these favorable effects of quitting smoking. Find one good reason to say no to tobacco products. Consult your doctor for smoking cessation programs that can help you to get rid of this smoking habit.
